Shares sale
What do you need to know
- When 25 percent or more of the company’s shares are going to be sold or the sale price of the shares exceeds 14 500 euros, a notarial form of the contract is required;
- If there are more than one shareholder, the other shareholders have a priority right to purchase the shares;
- If the buyer or seller is unable to attend a notary, a notarial power of attorney to represent the party is required.

What do you need to know
- JANGIS is an information system for the final beneficiaries (UBO) of legal entities;
- JANGIS is submitted electronically only.
- The person directly controlling the legal entity can be registered only once.
The beneficiary is described as:
- a natural person who, being the owner of a legal person and holding more than 25% shares, stocks, contributions and / or votes, benefits from it;
- a natural person who controls a legal person in various ways, such as the right to appoint or remove a head of a legal person, to make strategic decisions;a natural person who has other rights to control a legal person, such as its manager, chairman or member of the board or other collegial body.
